Today, service-oriented architectures (SOA) are important new paradigms that support modularized implementation of solutions within a middle tier. The Sparx software served the project as their platform and helped the development team to manage the shared repository that held all project-related information: the framework, the model, the documentation, and all the related artifacts. As a result, at a time when most other governments were still apologizing for a seriously-flawed start, the Sparx operation performed in a flawless manner.
